Top Sights

Great Ocean Road

Sydney – Watson’s Bay, Bondi to Bronte walk, Airlie Beach sailing trip through the Whitsunday Islands to Whitehaven Beach, Port Douglas,

the view from the balconies above the stage is better since you can see the whole circular dance floor. During the show you can order a bottle of wine for $15-$20.

Tigre – there is a town about 45 minutes north or BsBa called Tigre that is kind of a wetland area where houses are built along canals and many only have access to their home by boat.

You can walk along the river in the main part of town and then take a public ferry boat down the river to one of the camping areas/restaurants/beaches that are along the river. We went with locals which made it much easier to figure out. I recommend this as day excursion from BsBa but do some research first on which part of the river you’d like to visit. We took the ferry to Alpenhaus but it was 1 hour down the river.
